Who we work with

Our key focus is supporting professionals and small business owners, as well as self-employed service professionals such as accountants, lawyers and consultants. We also have specialized knowledge in health related professions such as doctors, nurses and pharmacists.

If you are a small business owner, your business may be brand new or may be well established. Your business is typically located in suburban areas, servicing clientele or other small businesses in the local area, and you may employ one or more staff members. As a service professional you may be a sole operator whose business is expanding.

As an employed professional you may work in a small to medium size company, managing other team members as well as reporting to top management. You have a high level of accountability for your department and regularly work on tight schedules and deadlines.

Can you relate to some of these scenarios?

I often work 60+ hours per week with very little free time. How can I get some balance back into my life? How can I delegate some of my responsibilities without compromising customer service? I'm so used to doing it all myself, but I can see that the cost to my personal life is too high.

A couple of years ago this job was really exciting, but now the stress is sapping my energy. It's starting to affect the quality of my life and I can't seem to relax. I used to have fun but lately I feel tired most of the time which only makes me less tolerant and patient with others. How can I get that spark back?

I have some good ideas but no time to develop or implement them. There always seems to be more urgent things to deal with. Not only that, I find it difficult to get support from other people in my life around making changes and so I'm feeling stuck where I am.

Some people would do anything to be making the money I am but I just don't feel satisfied anymore. I'm starting to question whether I want to be here anymore. The biggest problem is I don't even know what it is I want anymore.

I've been thinking about branching out and doing something completely different - maybe even start my own business. But then I think about all the things that can go wrong and think maybe it's better to stay where I am - which only frustrates me even more!

Who we work best with

You are most likely to succeed with us if:

You are willing to look 'outside the box' for solutions. You are open-minded enough to check out new possibilities, even though this may mean moving outside your comfort zone at times.

You are an action oriented person, willing to do what it takes to have your business and your life, working the way you want it to. You are motivated and disciplined enough to move toward your goals.

Achieving balance in your life is important. You aren't willing to compromise on your priorities or values in order to get ahead in your business at the expense of your personal life.

You run your business with the highest level of integrity and giving something back is part of your work ethic. If you want to cut corners, or get the most with the least amount of effort, then we're not for you. We believe in honesty, respect and a fair go for all.

You don't take your work or yourself too seriously. You find that having fun and a keen sense of humour serve you, and the people around you, well. Even if things don't quite turn out the way you would like, you don't spend too much time dwelling on it or blaming others. You know when it's time to move on.

Part of your philosophy is to not give up. You know it may take a little time before things start to change for the better, but setbacks don't faze you. You remain committed to your vision.

You understand the importance of support and open communication. Basically you know that 'man is not an island' and that relationships are important. You are not afraid to ask for support, and you communicate in an open, candid manner.
